Dr. Monica Mesa is a strategic, results-driven educational leader and executive coach with more than 30 years of experience leading school and district transformation. She currently serves as Chief of Schools for Mesa Public Schools — Arizona's largest school district — providing executive leadership across school performance, instructional excellence, and organizational effectiveness for a system serving more than 54,000 students.
Over her career she has served as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, principal coach, university instructor, and district executive leader — expertise she now brings directly to the districts and leaders she partners with.
Dr. Mesa designed Mesa Public Schools' Leadership Development Pipeline and serves as Co-Director of the National Principal Leadership Academy, supporting aspiring and current school leaders nationwide. Through Mesa Educational Consulting, she partners with districts to build leadership pipelines, strengthen principal supervision, and design systems for lasting organizational success.
